Due Date!

Today is our official due date! I really thought Baby Bower would be here by now, but I guess she's pretty comfortable. Hopefully she decides to make her appearance soon because Brad and I are very anxious to meet her.
My last day working was on Friday, now I am resting, nesting and getting ready for Baby Bower as I wait for signs of labor. I took a few more pictures of the nursery tonight. Here they are!

PA Shower!

The last weekend of January we had another baby shower! This time in PA at a restaurant called Moselem Springs. Betty, Kate and Sue did a great job making it such a wonderful, memorable shower (Thanks!). The room was so nice, and decorated beautifully in pink and brown. I'll include a photo of the beautiful diaper cake that Betty, Kate and Sue made. At the shower there was a play-doh baby contest, where everyone had to make a baby from play-doh and I had to pick the winner, Nichole won. Everyone also had to fill-in a "time capsule" sheet for Baby Bower so she can read them one day when she's old enough. There was also a "Sox Box" where guests brought socks or booties and their gifts were drawn for prizes, Baby Bower's feet will never be cold, and she has some adorable booties to wear! Baby Bower was once again showered with wonderful gifts from everyone, thank you so much!

VA Shower

Brad and I were surprised when we showed up to Vi and Laura's house for Tim's birthday party, only to find out it was a shower for Baby Bower! We had a great time guessing different baby foods, figuring out what was in the diapers, and playing a baby/pregnancy game where Brad and I had to see if our answers matched. There was also a girls vs. guys relay where everyone had to drink from a bottle and dress a flour and balloon baby. The girls won. Once again Baby Bower has been spoiled! Thanks so much it was a blast!

35 weeks

Yikes, 35 weeks! 

Last week my co-workers had a surprise shower for me at work. I was totally taken by surprise. It was very nice and I got some great things for Baby Bower. I'll add a couple photos below.

Over the weekend, Brad and I had our birthing class at the hospital. We received a lot of useful information. The best part of the class for me was the tour of the labor and delivery, and postpartum floors. Now that all of our classes are over we're as ready as we will be for the big day!

Baby Shower!

I have wonderful friends and family! Thank you to everyone for the amazing gifts for Baby Bower, I was overwhelmed by the generosity and cannot thank everyone enough. Baby Bower now has many great books for her library, adorable clothes to wear, toys to play with,  a well stocked nursery, and a stroller to be pushed around in. It was great to see everyone, I cannot wait for you all to meet Baby Bower. 

A special thank you to Heather Hatfield, my Mom, and my sister, Lien for planning a memorable shower and making some great food. Another a special thank you to the Harris' for opening up their home for the shower.

Nursery and beyond!

Less than 8 weeks to go!
Our nursery is slowly coming together. We have our crib and glider, but we are still searching for the perfect changing table.
For Christmas we received some really wonderful and adorable things for the baby. I can't wait to see her wearing some of the clothes!

Past 30 weeks!

It's hard to believe we're more than 30 weeks already! Less than 10 weeks until our due date. The realization that our little girl will be here gets stronger everyday. 

Our friends the Burgers just had their baby boy, Ethan Price Burger on Sunday night. Brad and I went to visit them and meet their little boy tonight. Holding Ethan made us even more excited for our little girl.
