As you probably know we are expecting our first baby, due February 23! Today we are one day shy of 18 weeks. We have a sonogram scheduled for October 1st, and we are finding out if this little baby will be a boy or a girl.
In the past week I've started to feel little thumps which I'm pretty sure is the baby kicking. It's so exciting to finally start feeling the baby, and to start showing more than a beer belly.
We have already had three prenatal visits with our doctor and we have heard the baby's heart beat during two of the appointments. At 12 weeks the heart rate was 170, and at 16 weeks the heart rate was 156.
We have been taking photos about every other week so we can track the growth of my bulging belly. When I get a chance I will post a few.
