Today we had our 20 week appointment! It's really hard to believe we're just over half way through the pregnancy. It was the first time we had to wait over an hour in the waiting room to see the Doctor, but learning more about this little girl is definitely worth it!
I have gained 8 lbs since my first appointment and my blood pressure was 112/70. The baby's heart rate was 154, she was moving around a lot when we were listening to her heart beat. The Doctor said that all the images they received from the ultrasound showed that everything was normal and that she was growing strong and healthy.
I've started to feel Braxton-Hicks contractions every once in a while, and I've learned to be careful about what I eat or my stomach will hurt.
